Welcome to Hall Place and Gardens

One of the South East’s best-kept secrets. This historic house and garden, rich in fascinating history, welcomes visitors all year round with a range of exhibitions and public events and stunning spaces for weddings and other celebrations. Garden entry is free.

Winter Opening = Gardens open 9am-4pm, House & Visitor Centre  10am-5pm

Butterfly Jungles Experience and All About Owls are hibernating for the winter. Butterfly Jungles will be reopening on 1 February 2020 and the Owls on 19 February 2020.

Bourne Road Temporary Gas Roadworks – 13th January 2020 for one week. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation near Hall Place during this period.
