River Cray at Hall Place
We have been advised by the Environment Agency (EA) that key maintenance works are required on the River Cray at Hall Place on 26 June.
The works will replace the stop boards on the weir that have decayed and are leaking and unsafe.
During the works they will also ensure that the stop boards and the Eel pass fit together so that any maintenance to one is not effecting the other. In order to do this they will need to reduce the level of the River for short period of time.
The works are expected to take one day.
The EA will be working closely with the Hall Place team, The London Zoological society and North West Kent Countryside partnership to ensure that wildlife in the river is protected while this work takes place.
