Solar Observing

Free, drop in outside the Visitor Centre

Meet the Crayford Manor House Astronomical Society Dartford for this free drop in activity to learn how to safely observe the sun through special equipment.

Location:  Located outside the Visitor Centre, on the grass area

Who would like this: Anyone over 5 years old with an appreciation for astronomy and weather.  All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What to bring : This event is outside so please be prepared for Great British weather. This event is weather dependant so please check our website and social media on the day

Covid safe info :  Please remember to follow all current government advice regarding hands, face, space. You will be able to space yourself out on the lawn from other groups. Equipment will be sanitised between uses. Do not attend if you or anyone in your household/bubble group are showing symptoms of Covid-19, or have tested positive, or if you have been contacted to self-isolate by NHS track & trace
