Painting the Place – Pen and Wash/ Watercolour Art Workshop
£32 per person, advance booking required
The first instalment of our popular ‘Painting the Place’ series of art sessions with our jovial expert artist Anthony Nield. In this session you will be instructed in the basic techniques needed in producing a lovely multicolour pen & wash image of Hall Place. Tips and guidance aplenty from the marvellous Mr Nield. Tea/coffee on arrival and Tearoom lunch (maximum value applies). Meet in the Visitor Centre. Advance booking essential as Anthony is a very popular teacher. Further instructions (what equipment to bring with you) will be e-mailed to you prior to the event.
There is a second Painting the Place workshop on the 9th September ‘Painting a Kentish Landscape’.
Location: Located both inside the Visitor Centre but the majority of time outside in the gardens weather allowing.
Who would like this: Anyone wishing to hone their art skills, any ability.
What to bring: Please dress for the weather. Further instructions (what equipment to bring with you) will be e-mailed to you prior to the event.

Booked online: Please bring your ticket email QR code either on a phone or printed out to the reception for a staff member to scan
Accessibility & Facilities: This event is located in the Visitor Centre which is fully wheelchair accessible. There will be a short walk into the gardens to sketch.
