Have fun on our spook-tacular Halloween Garden Trail this Autumn. Find all the ghoulish ghost posters in the grounds to fill in the missing parts of the pictures on your trail sheet. Includes a small edible prize. Pick up your trail sheet from the Riverside Café. Bring your own pencil or buy one for 50p. Pay on the day
Location: Located outside in the gardens. Pick up your trail sheet from the Riverside Café by the Visitors Centre
Who would like this: Family groups with children aged 3-10 years. Advise one trail sheet per child. Families with under 3’s welcome at their own discretion. The younger the child, the more teamwork required. The trail is designed to promote adults and children working together.
What to bring: Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes for walking the site over uneven ground and grass areas. Bring a pen or pencil with you or buy one from the shop
How does it work: There are 8 trail posters in the grounds at Hall Place each with a different picture of a ghost. The trail sheet has the same pictures but with something missing that you need to fill in to make the picture complete. Find the trail posters to complete your trail sheet. You will need a pencil to do this, bring your own or buy one for 50p. Our trails are designed for all the family to participate, but you only need buy the trail sheet for each child taking part. This years prize is an edible small treat.
Accessibility & Facilities: All trail sheets are bagged up with the prize so that you do not need to return to the cafe. There may be a queue for the trails at peak times. Please remember to socially distance especially inside. If you are able, ask one person to queue so that the rest of the group don’t get bored. This event is held on uneven parkland.
