The third instalment of our popular ‘Painting the Place’ series of art sessions with our jovial artist Anthony Nield. In this session you will be shown how to quickly develop your skills and confidence simply with 10 minute speed painting on large postcard sized sheets of watercolour paper, 2-4 at a time. Don’t panic, as the marvellous Mr Nield will show you exactly how its done. Tea/coffee on arrival and Tearoom lunch (maximum value applies). Meet in the Visitor Centre. Advance booking essential as Anthony is a very popular teacher. Further instructions (what equipment to bring with you) will be e-mailed to you prior to the event.

Do what you fancy, pick the sessions that appeal to you. Other sessions will include 4. Drawing architectural plants in Pen & Wash and 5. Landscape painting.

  • To book tickets call Hall Place and Gardens booking line on 01322 621238. Lines are open every day from 10am to 4.30pm.

  • All tickets should be booked in advance, unless otherwise stated.

  • For all activities and events children must be accompanied by adults.

  • If you need special assistance please let us know when booking.

  • Hall Place does not offer refunds on ticket sales. We operate a policy of unallocated seating for our events.
