Which Dinosaur is this? Have a ROAR-SOME time finding out by locating all the dinosaur trail posters in the gardens and piece the evidence together. Learn some fun dino facts as you go round. Pay on the day. Includes a small chocolate prize. Pick up your trail sheet from the Visitor Centre. Bring your own pencil or buy one for 50p.

Who would like this: Family groups with children aged 4-10 years. The younger the child, the more family teamwork required. Advise one trail sheet per child as small chocolate prize is not easily shared. Families with under 4’s welcome at their own discretion.
What to bring: Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes for walking the site over uneven ground and grass areas. You will also need a pencil or pen, but you can buy one for 50p if required.
How does it work: The aim of the trail is to guess the type of dinosaur. Purchase your trail sheet to get a series of clues relating to a specific dinosaur. Find the 7 dinosaur trail posters hidden in the gardens to see which one matches all the clues on your sheet. Our trails are designed for all the family to participate, but you only need buy the trail sheet for each child taking part. The prize is usually a small chocolate bar, but please ask before purchasing the trail if there are any alternatives.
A map and instructions will be on display in the Visitor Centre if your require it.
Our trails are made for family groups with a wide range of abilities, so you will need to work together. This trail has information for the dinosaur fan as well as images for those not well versed in dinosaur types. Please ask to look at the trail before purchasing to make sure it is suitable for your family.
Accessibility & Facilities: All trail sheets are bagged up with the prize so that you do not need to return and queue up again. Follow onsite signage. `There may be a queue for the trails at peak times. If you are able, ask one person to queue so that the rest of the group don’t get bored. This event is held on uneven parkland. There is the café and toilets nearby including disabled toilet and baby change.
