Christmas Garden Trail

£2.50 per trail sheet

Find all 9 snowman posters in the grounds to gather their famous scrumptious snowman cupcake recipe. Each poster has a list of some of the ingredients you will need. Copy the ingredients onto your trail sheet and then have your own snowman bake off at home making the cakes.

Includes a small chocolate prize. Pick up your trail sheet from the Stables Gallery and Shop. Bring your own pencil or buy one for 50p. Pay on the day. The trail will not be available on the 24-26, 31 December 2022 & 1 January 2023

Location: Located outside in the gardens. Pick up your trail sheet from the Stables Gallery and Gift Shop by the Visitors Centre

Who would like this: Family groups with children aged 3-10 years. Advise one trail sheet per child. Families with under 3’s welcome at their own discretion. The younger the child, the more teamwork required.

What to bring: Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes for walking the site over uneven ground and grass areas. Bring a pen or pencil with you or buy one from the shop

How does it work: There are 9 trail posters in the grounds at Hall Place each with a different picture of a snowman. The trail sheet already has some of the scrumptious snowman cupcake recipe, you just need to find the list of ingredients from each poster. Find the trail posters to complete your trail sheet. You will need a pencil to do this, bring your own or buy one for 50p. Our trails are designed for all the family to participate, but you only need buy the trail sheet for each child taking part. This years prize is a chocolate bar (sorry no alternative available).

Booked online: Please bring your ticket email QR code to the Stables Gallery and Shop to pick up your trail sheet.

Accessibility & Facilities: All trail sheets are bagged up with the prize so that you do not need to return to the shop. There may be a queue for the trails at peak times. Please remember to socially distance especially inside. If you are able, ask one person to queue so that the rest of the group don’t get bored. Please note that the trail will not be available on the 24-26, 31 December 2022 & 1 January 2023. This event is held on uneven parkland. Covid this winter: Face coverings are strongly encouraged in all indoor areas including the toilets, café and shop when covid numbers are high
